Bobsleigh 101 Clinic

Alberta Bobsleigh will be hosting a Bobsleigh 101 clinic for all new and returning athletes. This clinic is a great opportunity for the rookies to learn what bobsleigh is really all about and I would suggest that the returning athletes come too as there is always something new to learn. The session will be taught by Alberta Bobsleigh Head Coach Dennis Marineau and Development Coordinator Justin Wilkinson. The clinic will run from 10 am – 1 pm, located at the “Sled Shed” (south of the BNTC where all the bobsleds are stored) and will consist of:

• Site tour
• Basic terminology
• How to move a bobsleigh
• How to prep a sled for sliding
• Track Safety
• Basic bobsleigh rules
• Other

Please dress appropriate for the weather as this the clinic will be run outside rain or shine. Also you will be working on sleds so don’t wear anything that you wouldn’t want to get wrecked.
